You have a lot of choices when choosing a supervision monitor. Choosing Collaborative Supervised Visitation is a great choice because of Cynthia’s personal life experience and education. She has an in-depth understanding of what families go through. When Cynthia was a very young mother and divorced, she trusted her ex-husband with visitation of their infant son (16 months old). He picked her son up for a weekend visit and when he was to return, he didn’t bring him back. Cynthia panicked like any mother would. He left with her son and moved around to undisclosed places in Canada for years. Cynthia notified the authorities to help her find her son and it took over 14 years to find him. Cynthia was reunited with her son when he was 15 years old. Cynthia understands the wide range of emotions that families feel and has immense compassion and empathy for them. It is Cynthia’s top priority to provide a safe environment for the children and to treat both the custodial and visiting parent equally. This event in Cynthia’s life is one key reason why she decided to study criminal justice and was a sworn police officer for a time in her life. Cynthia taps into her life experience and education often being a supervision monitor.
